An important part of photovoltaic curtain walls is glass and glass is wearing. So, it is important to protect it. It is necessary to allow air circulation in warehouse especially in high temperature environment or circulating temperature cycle. If the glass is placed outside, tarpaulins or plastic sheeting should be put on it to avoid water and check the water vapor condenses regularly. 

Opaque shield should be put on glass to avoid sunlight. Glass needs to lean on a strong straight wall from vertical 5 ° -7 °. Top and bottom edges of all glass should be put on felt and protective cardboard or felt need to be put between two pieces of glass. If the glass is flat lying, felt must be covered on it to avoid dust, sand glass, or other contaminants.

Protection during construction

There will be protection during construction marked with colorful flags or color ribbons in the vicinity of the glass, front sash, jamb or windowsill. Do not let the rope touch the glass directly. Do not let the sign or paint painted on the glass surface directly. If there is welding, cutting sandblast or other construction process which may damage the glass near glass, there should be isolation laminates to protect glass.

Node maintenance

Node is the main accessory between curtain walls and floor. Surface treatment is needed for corrosion. Usually, iron red rust primer will be painted on zinc plated A3 steel. Nodes of floor without seal repair can be checked at any time. If there is any corrosion, it can be painted after partial polish. If the bolt is loose, retighten it. Floor seal repair can be checked biennially. Local examination is enough, but if there is any problem, comprehensive examination and preservative treatment are needed.

Regular inspection

(1)Supplier will have regular inspection. If there is any problem in quality, they will fix it.

(2)Tape and plastic injection can be checked at any time. If there is any loss or damage, timely replacement or repair will be taken.

Domestic and imported silicone rubber is used for domestic use. Meanwhile it must pass the compatibility test by state designated testing unit. Repair must wait until fully cured (24h). When repairing for it, damage needed to be clean up and it needs more than two-thirds.

(3)Regular cleaning with a gondola.

(4)Surface repair: Refinish need to be used in local damage or scratched.

(5)Brown and white refinish: BOSNY.

(6)Inspection: 

a.Surface inspection. If there is any damage will be found by eyes.

b.Internal inspection. Check whether the glass is damaged. If there is damage, it needs to be replaced promptly. Check connections whether corroded or loose. Is there a functional disorder on hardware. If there is cracking or falling off. Whether glue is defective. Check whether glass has condensation.
